You Shall Prevail

Upon your head is His salvation;
in you lives Christ -- desire of nations
Your torso wrapped in righteousness,
which comes from Jesus' holiness
Upon your waist is fastened truth
to keep all lies from touching you
Keep on the fight, you will not fail;
He is with you -- you shall prevail

Your feet with readiness is now shod;
it comes from knowing the word of God
Your warrior feet will dance upon
the serpent's head for you have won
And on one hand you take up faith
to move those mountains, to learn to wait
Upon the Lord who does not fail;
press on Hadassa, you shall prevail

Your other hand will take up sword
a warrior's weapon, and then some more
The Spirit dwells in you to rise,
so live by faith, don't compromise
Your mouth will utter words of praise
and songs of worship and songs of grace
Your words of prayer will much avail,
for when you pray you shall prevail

Bright star, shine forth, the Savior calls;
rise up, He'll breakdown all those walls
Let all the joy within you shine;
rest in this truth: He calls you "Mine"
You are equipped, have gone through training
all this is practice for your reigning
So put on the armor and blaze a trail;
go forth, Hadassa, you shall prevail
