Wisdom and Beauty

Pretty as a lotus petal in the wind
Floating effortlessly to the ground
There is beauty, outside and within
But your life must first be laid down

As death to self means life in Christ
His beauty through you to manifest
As precious as a sparrow in His eyes
He sees you -- beloved and best

Lower and down to the earth
Fear the Holy One -- revere
Acknowledge Him for all you're worth
Wisdom begins from here

Know your God, your one true Friend
Pursue first love like panting deer
For He seeks you with love 'til end
Your sufficiency is where He's near

Wisdom and beauty abounds in you
And blessings to a thousand more
Use them as the Father intend you to
Rise up, your hands are trained for war
