Time to Move With God

from the Elijah List website

Obviously, there is no passage of Scripture that says this precisely, but it was a symbolic representation of God's desire to release escalating measures of increase for the coming days. The passage that I was reading was from Numbers 10. Admittedly, Numbers was not a book that has been on my radar in recent days. I have focused much of my attention on Revelation, Daniel, Zechariah and the Gospel of John. Therefore it was a seemingly random and obscure passage for me to read at the time, yet I knew the dream was from the Lord.

As a result, I determined not to tell anyone the specific passage that I was given so when the confirmation came I could have complete confidence that it was from the Lord. The following week I participated in a conference in Knoxville, Tennessee, that included Bob Jones. I thought perhaps the Lord would activate Bob's revelatory gifting and speak to me from Numbers 10. However, by the time I left the conference no mention was made of this passage.

I then flew directly from Knoxville to Dallas, Texas, to participate in a Rosh Hashanah conference with Chuck Pierce and Glory of Zion ministries. I was quite excited to be a part of this gathering and felt a certain sense of appreciation to the Holy Spirit for His quick fulfillment of a prophetic word the Lord directed me to give Chuck the year before. It was a revelatory experience involving a huge white tent and the release of the healing anointing comparable to that demonstrated during the tent revivals of the 50s.

This was the first tent meeting they had conducted on property they purchased outside of Denton, Texas. When I arrived the tent was exactly as I had seen in the experience the year before. I still carried in my heart a desire to understand the implications of Numbers 10, but admittedly was not focused on it when the service began that evening.

To my amazement, following worship, Chuck brought forward two individuals with silver trumpets to inaugurate the Feast of Trumpets and the beginning of Rosh Hashanah. This of course is taken from Numbers 10:1-3 and the declaration given to Israel for the purpose of calling a holy assembly and alerting the people for times of movement.

Make yourself two trumpets of silver, of hammered work you shall make them; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation and for having the camps set out. When both are blown, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the doorway of the tent of meeting.

I was even more amazed when Chuck declared that he was going to do a brief teaching from Numbers 10 as a prophetic announcement for the services and the coming season in God. There was my confirmation!

Moving With God

Numbers 10 is a chapter devoted to the preparation of God's people to move with the cloud of His Presence into a place of promise. Very specific and meticulous instruction was given to Moses when the time came for the cloud to move to another location. Clearly, from this prophetic insight, the Body of Christ is being called to a holy assembly and preparing to follow the movement of His Presence. The cloud is moving!

The specific verse that I was reading in my dream that was translated "increase, increase, increase, increase, increase" was actually Numbers 10:28 saying, "This was the order of march of the sons of Israel by their armies as they set out."

My interpretation of this passage as it relates to the coming increase is derived from our necessity to follow God's meticulous order outlined by His Spirit. The Lord has a prescribed way that He desires for us to align ourselves with Him in order for His blessings of favor and grace to accompany us, resulting in progressive measures of increase. Much of that order can be found in Isaiah 66:1-2 saying:

Thus says the LORD, "Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest? For My hand made all these things, thus all these things came into being," declares the LORD. "But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.

Three things will help align us with God for the coming days:

1. The Spirit of Humility
2. A Broken and Contrite Heart

3. Trembling in Reverence and Awe at God's Word
(Rhema and Logos)

Praise, Times and Seasons, Habitation

The Lord clearly instructed Moses to have three tribes precede the Tabernacle as they began to march—Judah, Issachar and Zebulun (Numbers 10:14-16).

The standard representing Judah was that of a lion. Clearly, the Lord is presenting Himself as the Lion from the tribe of Judah. He came once in a manger and offered Himself as a suffering lamb. However, now He comes roaring in resurrection power to appropriate His overcoming victory through a Body of people identified as the Bride of Christ. Praise must go before us along with a clear understanding of times and seasons as depicted in the blessings of Issachar.

We are now entering an "appointed time" for advancement and especially the recovery of lost heritage. While in South Africa following Rosh Hashanah very clear revelatory insights were given concerning Zebulun and the blessing of Moses found in Deuteronomy 33:18-19 saying:

Of Zebulun he said, "Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going forth, and, Issachar, in your tents. They will call peoples to the mountain; there they will offer righteous sacrifices; for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand."

The name Zebulun means "a habitation" but the land of Zebulun was once ostracized for its darkness and apostasy. However, one visitation from the Lord Jesus and it became known as a land of illumination and a source of great Light (Matthew 4:15-16). This blessing provides a prophetic picture of many places being positioned for divine visitation. I believe this will be especially true along certain coastal areas that have received prophetic promises through the blessings of Zebulun. Naturally, that is not to say this will be limited to coastal areas, but this word is identifying those places with this promise.

A New Season

I believe this past fall festival season has been one of the most important in recent memory. Very clear and precise revelations have been granted concerning God's desire to release not only demonstrations of His Spirit but also a more pronounced measure of His Presence. We are called and commissioned in this season to bring in a wave of harvest that will consist of future harvesters; the Cloud is moving in that direction. Along with our emphasis on evangelism there must also be a corresponding emphasis on equipping, mentoring and preparation.

NASA and the Bible

From a forwarded email.

I thought this was pretty amazing and interesting.

For all the scientists out there, and for all the students who have a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here's something that shows God's awesome creation, and that He is still in control.

Did you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been called A 'myth ' in the Bible is true?

Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland, and a consultant in the space program, relates the following development

I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us t today happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland .

They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets would be 100 years and 1,000 years from now. We have to know this so we won't send up a satellite and have it bump into something later on in its orbits.

We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.

They ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries and it came to a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there was something wrong with either the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards.

They called in the service department to check it out and they said, "What's wrong?" Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed time.

They scratched their heads and tore their hair out. There was no answer.

Finally, a Christian man on the team said, "You know, one time I was in Sunday School and they talked about the sun standing still." While they didn't believe him, they didn't have an answer either, so they said, "Show us." He got a Bible and went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with 'common sense.' There they found the Lord saying to "Joshua, Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of them stand before Thee."

Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy! And if darkness fell, they would overpower them. So, Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right.. 'The sun stood still and the moon stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!' (Joshua 10:12-13)

The astronauts and scientists said, "There is the missing day!" They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes, not a whole day.

They read the Bible, and there it was about (approximately) a day. These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you'll still be in trouble 1000 years from now.

Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits. As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS.

The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book and read these! Words in 2 Kings that told of the following story: Hezekiah, on his deathbed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said, "Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?"

Hezekiah said, "It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees."

Isaiah spoke to the Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD!

Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes!

Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the missing day in the universe! Isn't it amazing?

References: Joshua 10:8, 12, 13 and 2 Kings 20:9-11.

Forward this to as many people who you believe would think this is equally as cool.

If God could do this then, how much more can he do for us today if we only believe in his word?

Sunday Notes: JBD on Faith

notes from Pastor Joseph DiSarno's preaching on FAITH
July 12, 2009
[with some personal revelations]

- do not live your Christian life through the flesh because that will bring you to legalism

- NO SPIRIT = NO POWER to live the WORD out

- God CREATED the NEED so that we would SEEK the SUPPLY

- when you take a step of faith and there's nothing under your feet, GOD WILL PLACE SOMETHING UNDER IT

- WHAT YOU HEAR in the SPIRIT becomes WHAT YOU SEE in REALITY

- "you shall have whatever you see"

- John 15:7-8 = If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

- ingredients to faith: (1) ABIDE IN HIM + (2) LET HIS WORDS ABIDE IN YOU

- DESIRE has a definitive power

- channel your passion TOWARD GOD

- we need to have a DEFINITE, BURNING, PERSISTENT desire FOR GOD
+ a DEFINITE desire keeps you CERTAIN
+ a BURNING desire keeps you FOCUSED
+ a PERSISTENT desire keeps you DETERMINED

If You Listen, You Will Hear

Even in the smallest, most minute way known to man, God speaks. If you pay attention to the subtleties of His communication, you will get what He is saying.

Then there are also none subtle ways that God speaks. But even that still requires focus and determination to hear something from your Creator.

To the best that I can, I always start the day with the Word of God and talking to God. I want to hear what my Father has to say about life, about today and so on. It doesn't take hours, mind you. My morning devotional is a prep for my full day's worth of devotional time to the Lord.

For the past few days He's been speaking. And I have been listening. Here are some of the things He had to say:

"Sow in tears. Reap in joy."

"Let your light shine!"

"Endure hardship as discipline."

Today, He spoke to me about putting feelings aside and letting faith prevail. Sometimes there are things that God asks us to do that we don't really feel like doing. But as citizens of His Kingdom, your choice is just either to obey or disobey. It's a simple as that. And the Lord told me that even when I don't feel like doing what He asks me to do, I must still submit to His will and purposes and do it!

The Bible warns us about hearing His voice and not heeding it [Hebrews 3:15]. We really need to open our spiritual ears and take a listen to what God saying. Because He does still speak to us. He hasn't stopped communicating with His creation. He's still in the business of conversing with us. He's just waiting for us to take notice.

God is speaking to you. If you listen, you will hear.

The Key of David

Barbie Breathitt: "The Revelation of Christ, Greater Works, and the Keys of Faith"
[from the Elijah List website]

Many of us are finding ourselves at crossroads in our lives - seeking God for the new. By seeking God for direction, we are given keys to enter new doors of opportunity for new beginnings. I was awakened at 2:57 AM, at which time the Lord led me to Psalm 25:7, "Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your lovingkindness remember me, for Your goodness' sake, O LORD."

The Revelation of Christ

He is taking all of us through the cleansing and purification process to perfect our character to hold a "greater works" anointing. His desire is to set us free from the grave clothes of the past that try to bind, hold, or hinder us from having the courage to move forward in faith to obtain the increase He has planned for us (Jeremiah 29:11). Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead after the stench of death had held him for four days. He is releasing power to free us from the sting of death.

He told Martha in John 11:25-27, "'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?' 'Yes, Lord,' she told Him, 'I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.'" She was given the same revelation as Peter - that Jesus was the anointed Christ.

The same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead resides in us. It is restoring hope, casting new vision and causing our dry bones to come together to live again. He is forming an army of soul harvesters who will move in Kingdom power. The apostles and prophets of old laid the foundation of the Church. We are called to walk upon that firm foundation and demonstrate the fullness of the Gospel message with signs, wonders, and miracles following.

Peter was the first to receive the revelation of Christ. In Matthew 16:13-20, Jesus asked several questions. First He asked His disciples, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" Secondly, He brought it home with a specific question addressed to each individual disciple, "...who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by My Father in Heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock (of revelation) I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven."

Keys to Open Doors

These keys are given to us to open doors in the realm of the Spirit, to tap into the overcomers anointing and to set captives free. These keys also enable us to lock doors so disease, poverty, lack, shame, doubt and unbelief can no longer access us or those we are sent to deliver.

The process of obtaining God's grace and favor is outlined to us in Matthew 7:7-8, which tells us to, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." We need to ask largely of the Lord and expect a great return of His provision. Jesus holds the keys of death and Hades.

Revelation 3:7-8 tells us Jesus also "holds the key of David." "What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. He knows your deeds. See, He has placed before you an open door that no one can shut. He knows that you have little strength, yet you have kept His word and have not denied His name" (paraphrased).

Because we have little strength but desire to walk in the character and nature of His name and keep His word, God is releasing angels to assist us in this time of transition. The angels know where the doors and gates are in the realm of the Spirit. Psalm 103:20-21 says, "Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word. Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure." As we learn to partner with the angelic realm we will become ministers of Heavenly fire.

Time for "Greater Works"

The 1950's healing revival demonstrated the awesome power of the Kingdom. We desire to see the healing anointing released in a greater dimension than was displayed in the 1950's healing revival. Psalm 90:16-17 says, "Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your glory to their children. And let the beauty (favor) of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish (confirm) the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."

I asked the Lord when He was going to let His mighty works appear again. He responded with, "Whenever you begin to do them!"

God's Word states that there will be a generation that does the "greater works" because He has gone to His Father. We are that generation. Jesus is seated in position in Heavenly places and we are called to be seated in that same Heavenly place (Ephesians 2:5-7) to bring forth His Heavenly Kingdom on earth (Ephesians 1:17-23). Jesus only did the things He saw His Father doing in Heaven.

I believe that God wants us to learn how to connect with the realm of vision to see the things going on in Heaven and manifest them on earth. Jesus told us that He could do nothing of Himself but only what He saw His Father doing.

John 5:20-22, "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will."

Faith is the Key!

The key for us is to believe what the Word of God says is true. It will happen for us when we move in faith.

John 14:12-14 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

What desire has God placed in your heart to do? What great work do you need to ask Him for? Remember to ask in the name or character of Jesus, and He will do it for you!

God's breath to you,

A Mighty Wind

Cindy McGill: "FACE THE WIND – IT'S A FAITH WALK"
[from Elijah List]

The Winds of Change are Blowing

Does it feel like everything in our lives is being challenged? Sometimes it seems like our spiritual compass is spinning out of control and we can't find our direction. We put one foot down and the ground moves under the other foot. There is no doubt that we have crossed over into uncertain times. The certainty in uncertain times is to keep our anchor in Jesus.

Isaiah 41:10 says, "Do not fear for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

It's time to walk by faith and not put a lot of trust in our own understanding. The winds of change are blowing and everything in our lives is affected. These winds will show us where our house is built.

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus is teaching about the two houses:

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

"But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."

Two houses and two foundations. Often we feel that the winds are adverse times and difficult seasons of our lives, but what if the winds actually represents the Holy Spirit?

God is redefining His Church. God is directing the wind and we find ourselves faced with two choices. We can either turn our faces to the wind or turn our backs on the wind.

If we turn our backs to the wind, we lose sight of things to come and can become rigid and unmovable, possibly even fighting against God. If we face the wind, we find ourselves positioned to have old things blown off of us, capture new vision, and become strengthened for the days to come.

LET THE JUNK BLOW OFF YA!

This shift and change is from God and we must face this wind to get to our next place. He is getting old stuff out of us. Old mindsets, old methods, old comfortable paths and predictable lifestyles are being blown off of us in this wind.

We must avoid trying to reconstruct things God is dismantling. This change is essential. We cannot move forward without it.

God is challenging us to increase our faith. We must ask ourselves this question: Will we choose to be a people of faith or familiarity?

The truth is we cannot keep going like we are going to arrive at the place God wants us to be at. The path is turning. We have to follow Him to arrive at our destiny. We are faced with an opportunity of setting the stage for the greatest visitation of His presence that the world has ever seen.

Things are being removed and things are being added to our lives. The choice is ours. Do we turn our back on the preparation process or do we face the wind and let God reshape our lives, circumstances and mindsets for His purposes?

The very wind He sends, prunes, protects, directs and guides us. There is a higher plan in place. It is God sending this wind.

THERE GOES THE ROOF

These windy times are seasonal, but our faith must increase right now. God is blowing the lid off of our little world. When the roof is gone, there is no obstruction to seeing the Heavenly realm. Things are getting exposed. We are able to see things from God's view.

When the wind dies down, we will have a clearer picture of God, of ourselves, our assignment, and a deeper dependence on God with new levels of trust and faith. Honestly, most of the stuff we thought we just had to have, we discover we just don't need anymore and when it's gone, we won't miss it - stuff in the natural and in the spirit realm.

WHERE IS OUR FAITH?

God is taking over. He is directing the ship. As this storm comes up, will we remember God's words to us or will we be like the disciples who woke Jesus up in the boat, telling Him they were going to die?

Luke 8:22-25, "Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, 'Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.' And they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, 'Master, Master, we are perishing!'

"Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, 'Where is your faith?' And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, 'Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!'"

We are going to make it to the other side. The process may take us in a way we didn't see coming, but the end result is that we will be in a new place with new perspective and INCREASED FAITH!

Face the wind. It is a good thing and a God thing.

A Prayer for a Warrior

[from the 18th Psalm; for Warrior and Follower of Christ]

The Lord is your strength. The Lord is your rock, your fortress and your deliverer. God is your rock, in whom you can take refuge. He is your shield and the horn of your salvation, your stronghold. Call on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and He will save you from your enemies. The cords of death may entangle you; the torrents of destruction may overwhelm you. The cords of the grave may coil around you; the snares of death may confront you. In your distress, call to the Lord; cry to God for help. From His temple He will hear your voice; your cry comes before Him, into His ears.

He will reach down from on high and will take hold of you; He will draw you out of deep waters. He will rescue you from your powerful enemy, from your foes, who are too strong for you. They may confront you in the day of your disaster, but the Lord will be your support.

He will bring you out into a spacious place; He will rescue you because He delights in you. The Lord will deal with you according to your righteousness; according to the cleanness of your hands He will reward you. So keep the ways of the Lord; do not commit evil by turning from your God. All His laws are before you; do not turn away from His decrees. Be blameless before Him and keep yourself from sin. The Lord will reward you according to your righteousness, according to the cleanness of your hands in His sight.

To the faithful He shows Himself faithful, to the blameless He shows Himself blameless, to the pure He shows Himself pure, but to the crooked He shows Himself shrewd. He saves the humble but brings low those whose eyes are haughty. The Lord will keep your lamp burning; God will turn your darkness into light.

With His help you can advance against a troop; with God you can scale a wall. God’s ways are perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except God? It is God who will arm you with strength and make your way perfect. He will make your feet like the feet of a deer; He will enable you to stand on the heights. He will train your hands for battle; your arms can bend a bow of bronze. He will give you His shield of victory, and His right hand will sustain you; He will stoop down to make you great.

He will broaden the path beneath you, so that your ankles will not turn. You will pursue your enemies and you will overtake them; you will not turn back till they are destroyed. You will crush them and they will not rise; they will fall beneath your feet. God will arm you with strength for battle; He will make your adversaries bow at your feet. He will make your enemies turn their backs in flight; you will destroy your foes. They will cry for help, but no one will save them— they will call to the Lord, but He will not answer.

You will beat your enemies as fine as dust borne on the wind; you will pour them out like mud in the streets. He will deliver you from the attacks of the people; God will make you the head of nations; people you do not know will be subject to you. As soon as they hear you, they will obey you; foreigners will cringe before you. They will all lose heart; they will come trembling from their strongholds.

The Lord lives! Give praise to your Rock! Exalt God, your Savior! He is the God who will avenge you, who will subdue nations under you, who will save you from your enemies. He will exalt you above your foes; He will rescue you from violent men. So, praise the Lord among the nations; sing praises to His name. He will give you great victories; He will show unfailing kindness to His anointed.

Acceleration / Speed of Light

Claire Lampan: GOD IS ACCELERATING YOUR DESTINY ON AN OPEN ROAD
[from Elijah List]

"I will take you where angels fear to tread; where grown men have stumbled and gone astray. As you stay close to Me, I will guide and direct your path; stay close to Me. Listen for My voice at every junction before you venture out on the 'open road.' The sign posts will be there - you must seek and you shall find; do not rush and miss them, but do not stand and dwell beneath them.

"You are about to enter the open road. Be alert; be ready to accelerate as the road allows; be ready to negotiate each bend with care. Is anything too difficult for Me? I will make the crooked path straight when I release My favor and My increase. 'Kairos' will be a living experience for you. What was crooked will become straight.

"I am accelerating your destiny. Time is the essence and the essence is time. Do not fear the unknown; this is a road of opportunity and it is 'open' for you. Just listen at the junction, and then move out. You must listen at the junction for directions.

"Do not fear the danger of colliding with other traffic on the open road. No one has traveled this open road before, only I. The danger is not in collision, but in moving off course. I have set your course. I will then direct you into the paths of righteousness. The path awaits you - take courage, My child, step out.

"I will wipe every tear, hear every plea, and every longing will be realized as you align your heart's desires with Mine.

"Glory is Mine. Honor and glory are Mine. Release My honor and My glory to My children. You will see healing in your own family as you minister healing to My Body - this remedy is not a repeat prescription, but a cure.

"Trust Me once more, My child. I want to bless you beyond measure, beyond limits, beyond expectations, and beyond."

Conrad Lampan: "ACCELERATION AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT"
CHANGES AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT

When I was in Bible College, we received a visit from James Irwin, one of the astronauts who made it to the moon. He came with another guest who was in charge of NASA computing systems for a specific trip to the moon. They talked about many things relating to the journey - the preparation, the return back to earth, and they shared some curious facts that had us all mesmerized. But the one thing they shared, which was absolutely astounding, was a hypothetic trip in which one could reach the speed of light, as well as what changes would happen as we approach such speed.

James and his partner had us imagine we were on a spacecraft that could eventually reach the speed of light and they explained five things that would happen as we approached the speed of light. Now, bear in mind that as we speak of light and approaching the speed of light, we are also talking about God and approaching the "speed" of God because - God is Light!

BE LIGHT

One thing which will happen as we approach the speed of light is that we will become more and more radiant ourselves. As we reach the speed of light, we will become so much a part of it that we too will be light!

According to the Bible, we partake of His nature and take from His fullness. All throughout the Scriptures we are told to be like Him, become like Him and act and move like Him. And this is not by way of imitating light - you cannot imitate light - but by way of "becoming light" and this is by "abiding in Him."

THE "SPACECRAFT"

We cannot become God, so how can we even consider the possibility of being like Him? That's where the Vessel - God, which is provided for the journey comes in. We have been translated into the Kingdom of His beloved Son. We have been put in Him, and in Him we move and are and have our being! As we "be" in Him, He is the Vessel that can reach the speed of "God" because He is God Himself!

We can be light! We should be light! It is time that we become light and shine!

WEIGHT OF GLORY

When you are accelerating to speeds close to the speed of light, you become heavier as you go. Until the speed of light is reached, you weigh as much as the whole universe. So much has been said, written and sung about the "Weight of Glory." We have not yet realized that such weight of the Glory of God is seen - not as a detached brilliance somewhere out in the void - but rather the weight of Glory increases in us as we speed up to God's speed! The more we are accelerated into Jesus, to God's speed, the more of God's Glory is shown through us.

GLORY AND PRESENCE

The Glory is not the same as the Presence. We need the presence of God if we are to see His glory as well. God is not glory, but He is full of Glory, ergo, we need to be in His presence where the fullness of Glory abides. This brings me to the other aspect of acceleration to the speed of light.

If we could reach the full speed of light, our mass would occupy the whole universe. We cannot, as created entities attain to that; we cannot by ourselves. But as I said, we are in Jesus and He is God and He is omnipresent!

Have you ever thought that in a very spiritual/cosmic sense that we move about the universe with our "prayers and prophetic actions"? Prayer and the prophetic are not static. You might be sitting in one place, but what you are doing in the Spirit is affecting all levels of the realms. This is only possible because of us being in Jesus.

TIME STOPS AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT

If we travel close to the speed of light, time "slows" down from a point of view, and if you reach the speed of light, time stops. This speaks of eternity! As we approach the "speed" of God, we are actually entering the speed of eternity, which in a very present sense means that time is of no effect then, and it becomes a wholesome, ever present Kairos!

From some point of view, it might feel as if we are slowing down as we approach eternity, but this is only our perception from within. Anybody looking at you as your time slows down from within, would actually perceive the opposite: they will see you accelerating to impossible speeds.

Have you ever felt that some person you know is experiencing more blessings or a "faster" move of God in their ministry? We experience such acceleration when we are in Jesus, and the more we immerse ourselves in Him, the closer we are to reaching higher speeds in our life and ministry.

TIME TO ABIDE IN ETERNITY

It does not take a long time to realize that the Bible is packed with reference to the above and I leave it to you to think of all the promises we have in God's Word aiming to accelerate our destiny to the speed of God.

It is time we realize that we have been put into eternity - we are not going into eternal life one day. We are already in eternal life and the principles of eternity apply to us here and now! Eternity is not about going to Heaven, but about opening Heaven on earth. We have been given the possibility of accelerating to Heaven's speeds!

God's Viewpoint - A Coalition of Time and Eternity

Kim Clement: "God's Viewpoint - A Coalition of Time and Eternity"
[from Elijah List]

When God speaks, He removes all doubt that our circumstances will control our freedom, however it does require a certain condition: our compliance to make it possible for Him to do it.

Lately, I've been thinking about our "point of view," and the fact that we are each a point of view. Every single person is a point of view. I am a point of view, you are a point of view. And from that angle, we see things based on our belief system, our education, our spiritual perception, our history - good or bad - and very importantly, our present circumstances. This point of view may be a healthy one, or a view based solely on our small thinking. God comes along and changes our viewpoint with a divine viewpoint.

Divine Perspective

When God speaks to us, it is an exegesis of existence from a divine perspective, which is a complete explanation and interpretation of a particular perspective. Why does God have a specific viewpoint and, is my own point of view at odds with His? This could happen. Another aspect of God speaking to us is the fact that if we believe it (while living in time and space, bearing all the restrictions that come along with time and space, like weariness, sickness, depression, opinions, etc.), then HE is able to make it happen.

You may ask the question, "Why would God be restricted in any way, considering that He is God?" Well, the answer is easy. God lives and exists in eternity, or timelessness, and has made human beings rulers in time and space. They manage it, redeem the time, and occupy the space with very little help from eternity. The only thing they have to assist them to bring some eternal power and help into their restricted world is...faith.

Faith can move a mountain. Jesus spoke to a tree that was unfruitful and the next day it was dead. He spoke to winds and storms commanding them to be still. What Christ was doing was using the eternal power that existed in His BLOOD to make adjustments in His restrictions (time and space). We all have the same restrictions that He had. Based on the fact that if we accept Him and the Holy Spirit, we would have the same power and no possible restrictions could hold us back from our destiny.

Remember the story of Simon Peter in Matthew 16, as he stood with a bunch of disciples ready to answer the question Jesus had posed to them? "Who do men say that I am?" They all answered Him in parrot-like fashion and basically gave Him the opinions of the people saying, "You're a re-incarnated prophet - Jeremiah, Elijah, John the Baptist." Then Jesus, obviously wanting to see what their viewpoint was, posed the following question, "Who do YOU say that I am?"

Now, He wasn't asking them for an opinion, or a carnal point of view, but was asking for something eternal. No one answered until Simon Peter spoke out, "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God." This did something for Jesus and He told Simon Peter, "Flesh and blood (time and space/opinion) has not revealed this to you but My Father in Heaven (eternal) has." Jesus continued to say, "...Simon Peter, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven and whatever you loose (release) on earth will be loosed in Heaven."

Suddenly, there was an understanding in my mind that a "revelation from God," mingled in our mind and spoken out, would bring a harmony between Heaven (eternity/no restrictions) and earth (space/time/restrictions). Simon Peter, because of a "God" viewpoint, could command eternity into any earthly/worldly situation by releasing or stopping/loosing and binding.

Temporal vs. Eternal

Here is the dilemma: temporal and eternal are at odds. God has to find someone in time and space who has moved away from a limited, restricted, spacey viewpoint, and someone who has had a revelation from an eternal viewpoint, and move them to SPEAK it into that atmosphere - an atmosphere of negative energy derived from negative, restricted opinions.

My Grandmother used to say; "Opinion is like a backside - everyone has one and it stinks most of the time." However, let me continue encouraging you in this. Doesn't the Bible teach us in Ecclesiastes 3, that, "God has placed eternity in the heart of man"? The word "heart" there is translated, or correctly interpreted, as DNA.

Therefore, we have absolutely no reason not to overcome the restrictions that exist in our limited time and space. Eternity being in your DNA means that there is something driving you to connect with another eternal being or thing and if you can't find it, then you will find a temporary thing and place eternity into it/them.

Sound weird? Think about this then. Moses is taking the Israelites out of Egypt and away from their oppressors, surrounded by unbelief, fear, anger, and outrage in millions of Israelites that have been oppressed for 400 years. So their thinking is controlled by 400 years of history, slavery, oppression and pain.

Suddenly someone comes along and shows them a few miracles and finally gets them on their journey to freedom. The odds are against Moses performing any great miracle with their faith and expectation level. However, Moses has received a WORD from God, which means that he has an eternal command in his being.

God's word is not temporal, but eternal, and never dies. Moses tried to connect with something eternal in the people and finds nothing but restricted points of view. At one stage, the millions of Israelites (on their journey) run out of water and begin to angrily demand Moses to deal with this and speak to God. God tells Moses that there is water in a big rock close to him. This is ridiculous. Water does not exist in a rock. NO, it doesn't within the restrictions of time and space, but in terms of eternal perspective and God's viewpoint it does!

So what Moses has to do is take the word from God, which has connected with the eternity in his DNA (making it possible in his thinking), and place it into the rock by commanding it. There is no water in the rock. Moses has to place it there with his faith, his divine eternal viewpoint, and then command it with his now supernatural stick.

God tells Moses to strike the rock; as Moses does this, water gushes from the rock, and according to historians, a necessary 155,000 gallons of water gushed out of the rock to make approximately 3.5 million people happy in terms of drinking, cooking, bathing, washing clothes, etc.

Have Dominion

God needs someone in time and space to have a divine viewpoint in order for Him to perform His will on earth. That's the way He made things, and when He created Adam in the Genesis, He never told Adam that He (GOD) would be running the earth, but rather gave that power and authority to Adam by saying, "Multiply, have dominion, fill the earth and subdue it."

Basically, God was telling Adam, "You're in charge of the earth, time and space, and it's up to you to subdue it when problems arise." Have dominion. Dominion means, "to have sovereignty and control." Man's jurisdiction was over the EARTH, not any other place.

In Genesis 11, the Bible says that the various people on the earth decided that it was not the place where they wanted dominion, and so they decided to build a temple so high that the top reached into Heaven. Today this may seem ludicrous, but it's still happening in many different ways. What they were doing back then was trying to have dominion in the Heavens, because their attempts to have dominion over the earth had failed horribly because of Adam's fall.

Sin controlled their thinking and the point of view was limited and restricted to the selfish desires of the heart. They didn't care to use the "eternity" that God had placed within their blood, while under the restrictions of time and space, but sought another place to live rather.

Throughout my Christian life and ministry, I have seen the same problem, especially in the Church. People want to be "taken" to Heaven quickly and have the "Armageddon" attitude, which is, "I'm tired of life on earth, Arm-a-geddon out of here!"

They conjure up all kinds of doctrines to prove that God doesn't want us on this miserable earth, but wants to wipe it out, ultimately placing Christianity as a religion that is at odds with environmentalists who are desperate to save this precious earth that God gave to us. After all, wasn't His first command to Adam, "Fill the earth, have dominion and subdue it"?

Eternity in Our DNA

We have eternity in our DNA, which means that we can prove limitations wrong and WITHIN our circumstances make adjustments so that our restrictions actually become our opportunities and our greatest weapons. If you study God and how He worked historically with great men in the Bible and outside the Bible, you will see that most of these people were in severe circumstances with grave restrictions, and the general opinion was grossly against them.

The "eternal viewpoint" makes it possible for us to go through a transformation of the mind, thereby changing our speech. Once you use the power of the tongue to command your circumstances, your circumstances are converted from temporary distraction to eternal purposes. Moses stood before God at the burning bush and asked God how in the world he was supposed to deliver the people of Israel from Egypt.

Aside from the obvious problems, here are a few of the things that were against him. God speaks to Moses, a fugitive of Egypt and one guilty of murdering while he was a prince in Egypt, and says to him, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob."

In the midst of this breaking of the silence of hundreds of years, this completely unexpected manifestation of continuity, Moshe (Moses), the Egyptian prince who could hardly have been less prepared for such a moment, acts with a terror the patriarchs seldom exhibited, "Moses concealed his face, for he was afraid to gaze upon God" (Exodus 3).

In the same chapter, God speaks again and says, "I have seen, yes, seen the affliction of My people that is in Egypt, their cry have I heard in the face of their slave-drivers; Indeed I have known their sufferings! So I have come down (into time and space) to RESCUE it from the hand of Egypt, to bring it up from that land, to a land, goodly and spacious, to a land flowing with milk and honey...SO NOW GO, FOR I SEND YOU TO PHARAOH; BRING MY PEOPLE, THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, OUT OF EGYPT."

HOLD ON - I thought God said that HE had COME DOWN to rescue them? So why is He asking Moses to do it? Because, God has restricted Himself by giving mankind management of the earth and therefore, will always give a man the job of doing what He in fact came to do. This is exciting because it makes me realize that God transfers that power (that He has to accomplish something) into us and commands us to GO and deal with it.

God Has to Deal with Our Point of View

The only real problem that God has to deal with is our point of view. How do we see it? Can we see it the way He does? His viewpoint is eternal - ours is temporal and restricted by our limited sight. Now God has to convince us that it can be done.

Moses stands before God with a staff in his hand. This is his security and the one thing that he is acquainted with. The staff has led sheep and warred off the various plunderers of the sheep. God asks Moses to throw down his staff, and suddenly, what Moses has "seen" as a mere piece of wood to be used for one specific purpose, is now a serpent. God was trying to show Moses that nothing temporal is what it seems. On the surface it looks safe and predictable, but in actual fact, with eternal viewpoint and command, it could produce many interesting things.

Think about when Jesus was walking the earth. He is faced with a problem; a man is blind and needs to see. Jesus spits into the earth's soil and mixes it into clay, shoves it into the man's eyes, and suddenly, the blind man can see. Earth - trodden on by the feet of men and the paws of animals - suddenly becomes the instrument to open blind eyes.

Whey didn't Jesus do what He normally did? He would've placed His hands on someone, or spoken a word, but instead He used the EARTH and showed everyone that what was a seemingly predictable waste, was in fact a force to be used to heal someone. How? He saw more in the earth than something to be trodden upon or dug up, and allowed eternity to be placed into it when He spat into it.

DNA transferred into the earth! You have that power to transfer the eternity that is in your DNA into another human being. That is the essence of the prophetic. You "see" something greater in a human being, even greater than what they see, and you speak it into their lives. What a joy to see them becoming the eternal beings they were designed to become.

Remember, you have eternity in your blood, your DNA, and you have the ability to change everything. You have a Word from God, which is all that you need.

Getting into the Zone

John Belt: "Entering Into THE GOD ZONE"
from Elijah List

Matthew 14:29, "So He said, 'Come.' And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus."

The Gift of Faith

Faith is a gift from God (Romans 12:3). Just like anything that the Lord gives to us, we simply receive it from Him. We cannot work for it. It is all by His grace that we are entrusted with the glories of Heaven. Once this faith is planted in our hearts, it is up to us to do something with it.

He has already made us worthy by His Blood to be ambassadors of His Kingdom (Revelation 1:6). So we can completely rest, trust and rely on His righteousness clothing us and causing us to have victory in every area.

Faithful Servant

Everything and anything good comes down from the Father of lights (James 1:17). All we have been blessed with is from His hand. Our part is to be faithful with what He has given. All who follow Him want to hear the Lord say, "Well done! Good and faithful servant."

Those are the greatest words that we could possibly hear when we meet Him face to face. The Lord entrusts us with certain gifts, talents and callings. When we are faithful with these things, He finds us good stewards of what He has entrusted to us.

Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Yet He has given to each of us that measure of faith. He has also given us His Word, which is the seed that causes faith to be added within our hearts.

In our intimacy with Him, we hear His directive voice for each of our lives - which also adds another layer of faith within us. Our response is to now use the faith that we have been given so that His Kingdom can be established in hearts and in the earth.

Co-Laborers with Jesus

Matthew 28:10, "Then Jesus said to them, 'Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.'"

It is true that all we are engaged in is to be to the glory of God. It is all about Him. But God is so good that He really wants us in on the deal. He has made us to be joint heirs, sons and daughters and co-laborers with Christ in the earth (Romans 8:17).

The Lord calls us His "brothers." Wow! He has made us qualified to be the vessels of His glory and power. We have the habitations of the living God here to establish His habitation in the hearts of men and in the earth. God is all about taking dominion. As it has been sung, "Power and glory and honor and DOMINION is Yours, Oh Lord!" (Jude 25).

God wants to take dominion in you and me and everyone else that you see. He loves to take dominion! He is willing, able and ready to establish His Kingdom in the earth. He desires to take dominion in us and through us! So it is all about Him, but we also have a role to play and a part to fulfill. And without us playing our part, the picture is incomplete. It is time to be serious about the role we play and be seriously saturated in His glory so that we may shine!

Divine Expectation

Luke 9:62, "But Jesus said to him, 'No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.'"

In faith, we move forward. There is action associated with true faith. There is movement. There is focus. No one is fit for the Kingdom of God who puts his hand to the plow then looks back. That is not focus. There is a goal and there is a prize. God does have an expectation of us.

Luke 8:25, "But He said to them, 'Where is your faith?' And they were afraid, and marveled..."

Jesus had an expectation of His disciples. We see Him in the boat in Galilee with His disciples when He asked, "Where is your faith?" He had an expectation of them. Faith was that expectation. He said it was "their faith," for it was in their possession to use.

Once a gift is given by the giver, it no longer belongs to him. It is now the receiver's gift. Be it according to "your faith." So while we are not to boast in our faith, we are to use it. Just for the fact that we are created in the image and likeness of God, there is faith in our DNA, even if we don't know the Lord. For every man has been given the measure of faith to believe in God.

God Plus Me

But in this hour, as in every hour, it is time for us to use the faith that God has given to us. Let us be like little children in regard to faith. A child thinks in simple terms. There is no technicality. One plus one equals two. God plus me equals victory! That is the mindset we are called to - sweet and simple victory, even our faith.

Those who know their God will be strong and do great exploits. This is the time for exploits. Move beyond your comfort zone into the God zone! When we move into the God Zone, God is required to overcome in this zone and He gets all the glory!

The Resting Place

Faith is a resting place. Let us enter the rest of faith. May we be like Jesus in regard to knowing the Father's heart. Jesus was sleeping in the boat when the storm came. Take hold of the heart that is found in Jesus - that is found in the Father's rest. It is not about all the things we can do, even though there are things to do. It is about knowing, trusting and believing that God is greater than all.

When we are no longer afraid to fall, we can find rest and peace in the midst of it all. Peace like a river is our inheritance, and victory is the inevitable conclusion to our faith!

1 John 5:4, "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith."

What a time we live in! Let's move out in faith and apprehend the heart of God! He has plans that far exceed what we can imagine.

Ephesians 3:20, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

Power, honor, glory and dominion to Him! Let's worship in the Glory!

Ayuda Me!

The older I get the younger I feel
The false gets replaced by the real
The more I know the more I see
I know nothing of eternity

As days go by my strength wanes down
In lieu of such, the One renown
No more dependency on me
But on Him who will carry me

The closer I come to the Savior
The more I see flaws in my behavior
Totally helpless and lost in sin
If not for Him who had me cleansed

No grip on time, on life, on anything
No hold on anyone except my King
Stripped of all my laurels and pretense
Now worship increased and intense

Falling but getting up more
Wearied but hopeful for what's in store
Running but not feeling faint
Pushing forward with the Saints

Decreasing so He will increase
Intimacy will never cease
Needing Him more with every breath
Learning the art of daily death

So help me God

... TABANG LORD!

Wisdom for War

[for "Mighty Counselor Who Rules With Wisdom"]

“Knowledge is power”, the world always says
Yet wisdom from God is the one that can bless
Not just understanding, perception, or smarts
But deep revelation from Father God’s heart

Counsel with wisdom, the Lord has bestowed
His Spirit upon you, in your name foretold
That you will arise as mighty adviser
To kings and great men for you are the wiser

Wise in dominion, in judgment and power
This is the day and this is the hour
Called up to come and become who you are
A soldier, a warrior, a ruler at war

Weapons of knowledge, of counsel and wisdom
Weapons to use in advancing God’s kingdom
Are all at your beck and call at the Throne
The Spirit reveals it all to His own

From fearing the Lord with reverent fear
Understanding will grow as you humbly draw near
For it’s not by your strength that all these comes to pass
But by Master’s own words, which are true and will last

So, follow your Leader, your Savior, your Friend
For when you do so you’ll be leaving a trend
Of leaders pursuing their God without end
Of rulers who reign with His powerful hand

Of counselors walking in wisdom and love
Of judges declaring, “Thy Kingdom come!”
For you are of such and you’ve been set apart
Rise up, Mighty Counselor! It’s now time to start

Al Thomas: "Many of My Children Are On a--DIVINE DETOUR"

I WAS DRIVING TO A LUNCH APPOINTMENT WITH a Pastor when I came upon a detour. Because of the detour, traffic became snarled and I was barely moving. I checked the time and knew that if this traffic didn't clear up soon, I was going to be late. I almost fell into an irritated state, when God's presence came upon me. I sensed the Father saying, "I have placed many of My children on a Divine Detour and they do not know it."

SOME ARE FACING UNEXPECTED ROAD BLOCKS IN THEIR WALK WITH GOD...

Generally, everything seemed to be going smoothly for you. Most battles were easily won and temptations (although constant) didn't usually trip you (1 Corinthians 10:13). Then all hell broke loose. Those things that you used to handle with ease suddenly overwhelmed you and you wondered, Where did your strength go (Psalm 6:2)?

So there you are, called by God and following His plans the best you knew how, when things start to go downhill. Your spirit used to soar with enthusiasm, but now it is hard to get out of bed.

Fear not, God is preparing something new for you, but to bring it forth (here comes that word), pruning must take place (John 15:2). You didn't ask for this, but now you must fight the battle (Ephesians 6:11-12). You must bite the bullet and keep moving forward--tremendous rewards await you if you do not quit (Philippians 1:6). You decide to keep moving (Philippians 4:13). God nods His approval.

SOME THINK THEY ARE HARDLY MOVING AND SEE NO PROGRESS AT ALL...

You are wrong. If God would have allowed you to keep on the same old path you were on (Proverbs 14:12), you would have missed the opportunity (and blessings) He is about to show you. Often, God forcefully detours us so we will head into the harvest He has for us (John 4:38). Sometimes, more is accomplished in the spiritual realm when He makes us wait (Isaiah 40:31) then when we are "busy" for God.

Don't panic because nothing seems to be happening. He has pushed the "divine pause button" to bring you to Him and sit in His presence, something He has been trying to get you to do for some time now (Matthew 11:28-30). Yes, you are moving, only this time He is carrying you. Yes, progress is being made, but this time He is directing it. You prayed for this long ago, so don't fight it. You now relax...as He takes over.

BECAUSE OF THE DETOUR, DON'T THINK HIS PROMISES ARE POSTPONED...

Actually, the opposite is true (Psalm 138:8). Because God is taking you a different way, the promise will not only come to pass, but be fulfilled on a grander scale, because you allowed God to do it His way (Psalm 18:30). Oh yes, you meant well and your heart was in the right place, but God wanted to show you "a better way."

And because you decided not to panic and take a side road to avoid His detour, God can now speak with you about His plans and not yours (Jeremiah 29:11). Now you realize that you should have taken His detour long ago, but you couldn't discern the signs. You start to thank Him for the "forced detour" that He caused, because it will bring you into deeper communion with the King (Luke 24:15). You smile.

REJOICE, YOU'RE IN GOOD COMPANY AND ABOUT TO MAKE HISTORY...

God gave Paul a divine detour (Acts 9) and changed history. Jesus gave a few fishermen a detour and it turned their lives upside down (Matthew 4:18-19). God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary for the grandest detour of all--and because she accepted it (Luke 1:30-31), you and millions of others are now in the Kingdom of God. They and many others could have taken the "normal, beaten path," but they would not have changed history.

God's highway appears before you (Isaiah 35:8) and you need to start thanking Him for the interruption. Rejoice for the detour God has placed in front of you. Do not run from it. Many will be blessed because you said, "God, I don't recognize this path, I have never been here before, but because You say so, I will follow Your detour for me."

Remember, no one said you have to understand the detour God is making you go through...that will come later. As for now, take a deep breath, slow down and enjoy the view. Simply keep your eye on Jesus and He'll let you know which exit to get off (1 Samuel 3:10).

Kathie Walters: The Almond Tree Challenge--God is Asking: "WHAT DO YOU SEE?"

What Do You See?

I have a question for you today--I believe it's a question God is asking you. God actually asked Jeremiah this same question I am going to ask you. Ready?

First, a little background. Remember that at the beginning of Jeremiah's ministry, he didn't exactly have a great established ministry. I mean, he wasn't running around Israel speaking at big conferences and doing seminars. He was a kid, really. Well, a teenager, anyway.

When God first talked to Jeremiah about his calling to preach, He said, "Jeremiah, you know I called you before you were born and ordained you to be a prophet to the nations." Well, Jeremiah freaked out. He heard this before--after all, his dad was a preacher. But, you know, in your mind it's always, "Sometime down the road, when I am more mature."

Jeremiah answered the Lord and said, "You've got to be kidding. I'm just a kid, don't ask me. I can't do anything." Now, I know this is the Walters Translation, but go read it--that's what it says. If you want the King James Version, Jeremiah said, "Then said I, 'Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child'" (Jeremiah 1:6). But, you know people didn't speak in King James English then, just like we don't do that today.

God ignored Jeremiah's vision of himself as a useless kid. He said, "Don't say that, because I have put My word in your mouth." Then God gave him a pretty heavy-duty commission right there. Did He say, "Now, Jeremiah, go off to Bible school and study hard. One day you will mature enough to qualify to be used in the ministry"? No, no! Out of the blue, God said to the teenager, "Oh yes, I've called you to go to the nations; in fact, I've set you OVER nations and OVER kingdoms" (kingdoms usually include several or many countries). "You can pull down and uproot stuff and all kinds of powerful things." He told Jeremiah not to be afraid of their faces; He said, "I'll be there for you." When it says the face (or eyes) are a mirror of the soul, let me tell you, it really is.

Without even stopping to ask if Jeremiah was okay about it all, God suddenly said, "Well, what do you see, Jeremiah?" Jeremiah's dad was a priest, so he was used to God stuff--but not at that moment. God said, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" Jeremiah had to get into faith, quick. That is, you have to see by faith. Young Jeremiah had a vision, "I see a rod of an almond tree."

Aaron's rod was made from the branch of an almond tree, and in Hebrew it means "an awakening one." Jeremiah was seeing his destiny in his faith (but he didn't realize it yet). He was called to be an "awakening one." God told him to prophesy and challenge the people of Israel about their calling and destiny. God told him to go and wake them up. Personally, I would have asked God to send someone else and pleaded ignorance. Well, he tried that anyway--but it didn't work.

You know what? Often people don't like to be woken up. Not too many people are woken out of a slumber and get up in a good mood. You are mostly unhappy with the cause of the "awakening." "An Awakening One" was a good name for Jeremiah. "Mr. Popularity" wasn't exactly a good description of him.

So then...this is my question from the Lord to you: "What do you see?" I am not talking about the natural realm.

Take some time to chill out--take a break, go out for a nice meal, relax, take a couple of days--then go sit at the feet of Jesus. "Snuggle, don't struggle," is one of my favorite sayings, or, "Nestle, don't wrestle." Then get into rest and ask the Holy Spirit to show you what He sees for YOU. Not for your town. Not for your church. Not even for your husband or wife right now--but for you personally. Your vision has to start with you, doesn't it? If you don't have a real vision for yourself, then you won't be able to believe with someone else for their vision.

The Thing About Vision

Do you remember those old TV sets? They had a tube, and when they got old, the tube would start to go. Do you remember what happened when the tube was going out? The picture would gradually get smaller and smaller. No one wanted to buy a new tube because it was expensive, so you waited until the last minute. You were leaning over sideways to see the wide but shrunken picture.

So what are you seeing? Most people are seeing a shrunken picture. My husband, David, says, "Most Christians aim at nothing and hit it." You can only aim at what you see. If you see a small call or a small destiny or a small vision, that's all you will aim for.

My challenge for you is this: See what God sees for YOU. He has a great vision--He has a big vision! We see our town, our family, our little place in the grand scheme of things. But God sees nations, God sees a place without walls. God has no limitations in His vision. He sees no limits for you--you can have what you believe and you can believe what you see--IF you can see by faith. You have God's faith in you--believe it! Because "...to every man is given the measure of faith" (Romans 12:3).

What Is Your Adventure?

The Bible says that the will of God is delightful, "I delight to do Thy will, Oh my God" (Psalm 40:8).

God puts His desires in your heart. In other words, He puts His desires in your heart so that when you do according to your heart, it's delightful, it's wonderful, it's full of adventure and it's full of God. All you have to do is allow the Holy Spirit to show you what He sees for YOU. You have a wonderful, awesome, big and great destiny to fulfill.

If you are doing something tonight in the way of serving God and it's not delightful, forget it--it's just works. And, sorry to say, God is not interested in your works, He's interested in His works. He is not going to anoint your works, He anoints His works. The glory of God will never come on what you do--the glory comes on what He does. It's not trying, it's yielding to the anointing.

Isn't it easier to yield rather than to try and strive and work at it? Trying can be very trying. God is not running around your city trying to recruit workers for the Kingdom, He is just wanting His sons and daughters to rise up and be who He called them to be. You're not a sinner saved by grace--you were a sinner saved by grace, but now you are a son or a daughter of Almighty God. You are royalty of the Royalty, an heir of righteousness and an heir of the Kingdom. You don't have to earn it, you can't qualify for it--Jesus gave you this inheritance, freely. He paid for it 100% when He died and rose again.

But First, Enjoy Him

I nearly forgot to remind you--your first calling is to enjoy God. He called you to first enjoy Him. Don't go out and serve Him unless you enjoy Him. Do you know Jesus is in love with you? He totally adores you--He doesn't just tolerate you. He made you of His divine nature--eternity is in you. He has given you His power and righteousness and clothed you with the beautiful garments of Salvation.

This is a new and living way--walk in it and begin to see what HE sees for YOU.

Conqueror of Shores

[for "Youthful Child of the Father"]

Conquer the beach – it is within your reach
No, not by your might but by your Father’s light
Go before the rest, there will be a test
But you will surely pass, for none of this will last

You are child of the King – it’s a guarantee you will win
It is prophesied by your name, know that you will never be the same
The Father calls you son, youthful and dear one
His love and grace abound, along with power and mind sound

Forerunner, run the race; set your foot on the enemy’s face
Conquer the land and expand the Master’s Kingdom at hand
Set example to your generation; make disciples of the nations
Beachhead in the realm of the spirit; sound the alarm so they can hear it

Conqueror of shores, you’re a conqueror of more
God is your Father, He will propel you farther
His grace will sustain, prophesied by your name
Rise up, set your foot strong; you’re a warrior, to God you belong

War Zone

The Lord is calling a new breed of generation to rise up. As the Lord will train this new breed, the old ones will rise up together with this generation, raising up a new culture as "they will be totally in submission to the tactics I will give them for the war of this season for they will have an new sound that is even grather, as they will unite and tie up. For I will be the One to get in between the gap of these two generation for My love will drive both of them just to follow My leading."

War will be a lifestyle for this generation as they will not even doubt the tactics nor even feel weird of the type of commands the Lord will give for they will not even have a hint of struggle for they know that the battle is not theirs, because love is in their hearts and there is too much love that fear has vanished for they have a war cry that the battle of love has never ended but will be a way to fight as the enemy falls to his defeat There will be a great cry of victory for the Lord will bring us to a higher test and through it we will enter to a new level of promise land. The cry is the Lord's. Victory has been given to us for the glory is His and His alone.

Amazement will be a thing of the past for it will ony be the past generation that will be amazed, for this new breed will just rise up and it will be their lifestyle. Nothing will stand in between love for there will be no fluctuation of faith for it will even be from glor to glory. As their love increases, the war will increase, but the battle is still the Lord's.

"I'm raising up conquerors and no one can boast for it will be a lifestye. None shall fall in mere sin but will rise up for they know the heart of their Lord."

Everything will be new but new will be a lifestyle. A new type of living will rise up that there will be no toleration to sin but they will open it up to the light so just be ready, older generation, to accecpt them for who they are, for your hearts will dismay them but they are still mine. For you are to accept them as they have a different sound as you do. Older generation will not compete with them for they will just train them. They will be amazed that there will be a triple anointing in them, from the older generation.

All types of mountains will be reached. The tactic of the enemy will place a distortion on the communication upon the line but this generation will heed no matter how noisy the line is, for they know the voice of their Father, for intimacy is their breath of life. For them a single second without his voce is death to them and it hurts them as if they were dead. Their cry is a lifestyle for there is a total completeness for the Lord has completed their will for there hearts is totally attuned with the Creator. Walls will bow down as they pass through them. Mountains will sit down as they war in the spirit and prophesy victory. More than victory is upon them. Grace is their oil to survive this war.

The destuction of the enemy's camp will be nothing for them but a lifestyle, for they know they have a partner who won it for them. They live in a sphere of vague presence of the Lord -- in there they worship and war for their generation; in there they battle... and battle is already won because of the greatness of the Lord. The enemy can't stand no more and try to kill and wipe out the whole generation but this generation does not even fear death, for they have ovecome death and they are ready to be with the Lord as they will do their purpose fully in the Lord, for there is no more waste of time for they have redeemed the time fully.

You Shall Prevail

[for "Bright Star Who Abounds in Joy"]

Upon your head is His salvation;
in you lives Christ -- desire of nations
Your torso wrapped in righteousness,
which comes from Jesus' holiness
Upon your waist is fastened truth
to keep all lies from touching you
Keep on the fight, you will not fail;
He is with you -- you shall prevail

Your feet with readiness is now shod;
it comes from knowing the word of God
Your warrior feet will dance upon
the serpent's head for you have won
And on one hand you take up faith
to move those mountains, to learn to wait
Upon the Lord who does not fail;
press on Hadassa, you shall prevail

Your other hand will take up sword
a warrior's weapon, and then some more
The Spirit dwells in you to rise,
so live by faith, don't compromise
Your mouth will utter words of praise
and songs of worship and songs of grace
Your words of prayer will much avail,
for when you pray you shall prevail

Bright star, shine forth, the Savior calls;
rise up, He'll breakdown all those walls
Let all the joy within you shine;
rest in this truth: He calls you "Mine"
You are equipped, have gone through training
all this is practice for your reigning
So put on the armor and blaze a trail;
go forth, Hadassa, you shall prevail

Devoted Conqueror

[for "Land Conqueror Who is Devoted to a Gracious God"]

Start at the bottom, climb to the top
Conquer every mountain, don’t ever stop
Set your devotion; let yourself go
With your willingness to serve Him; go with His flow

Gracious and kind, your God will enable
With compassion and favor, He will keep you stable
All that you need God has given your way
Set you apart; prophesied through your name

Lay down your life now; follow His lead
Sow your devotion; plant it as seed
He lives within you; your faith will grow
Conquer the land for He called you to do so

You’ll overcome mountains with persistence and faith
And when you grow tired let yourself in Him wait
His strength will rise up and you will sow again
You’ll do so as humbly in Him you repent

You can conquer it all for He goes there with you
You are armed with His weapons and His armor, too
Conqueror of lands, to your God stay devoted
Stay faithful, consistent and you will be promoted

Until you see all the mountains have bowed
Stay your course and do not be cowed
For a Lion lives in you, He is waiting to roar
He has trained you to conquer; He has trained you for war
