Mark Chironna: "There is Coming a Great APPROVAL for the Sons of God in this Season"
[This prophetic word was given by Bishop Mark Chironna on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at The Master's Touch International Church in Longwood, Florida. Reposted from Elijah List]
We've got a rich heritage in the life of the Spirit even just within the last hundred years. There are so many things that we take for granted that earlier generations paid a high price for.
And it's important for us to have reverence and gratitude and awe on an ongoing basis for the manifest presence of God.
God Proves Us in the Midst of Our Trials
There's just something about Him that changes everything. It enables us to endure when endurance seems like it's a never ending race. It enables us, like David's mighty men, to keep fighting until the sword clave to his hand. They had to pry his hand off the sword.
There are seasons we go through, in the Kingdom, where we have to fight the good fight of faith and we are enduring for endurance sake and we wonder if there will ever come an end to the warfare, and yet we hold on to the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God and we continue to press through and press on in order that we might obtain the crown of righteousness, as God approves us in the midst of our trials.
There is coming a great approval for the sons of God in this season.
I prophesy to you that: We are coming into a season - we're going through proving, but we're about to come into approving.
Let me say it again: We are going through a proving season, but we are going to come into approving. There is going to be an approval from the Father.
I declare to you that within the next number of weeks we are going to see beginnings of the approving of the Father in many individual lives. We're going to see individual breakthroughs begin to scatter like fire from one end of the Body of Christ to the other.
We're going to begin to hear reports of the goodness of the Lord breaking out in unexpected ways and we're going to see the hand of God in tangible, manifest ways.
The Hand of God is About to Release Angelic Majesty
We are going to hear of prayers that have long been withheld, now, finally being answered.
As it was with Zechariah the aged and Elizabeth the aged, when Gabriel said, "Your prayers been answered," - prayers you even forgot that you prayed - the hand of God is about to release angelic majesty and is about to come in such a way that you are going to see the hand of Almighty God answer your prayers.
You are about to come into a brand new beatific vision - a beautiful vision of Jesus in a new way.
You're going to come to know Him in a way you've never known Him before.
There is a "tenderizing of hearts" going on right now by the power of the Holy Spirit in order to prepare us for this season of approval. God is about to exalt those who have been through lowly places. God is about to open rivers on the bare heights.
God is about to do mighty things that we have not known and He is going to invite us to command the work of His hands for the hand of the Lord is moving again in the earth.
And the hand of God shall be seen in the north and in the south and in the east and in the west and the glory of the Lord shall come like a rushing stream.
And it shall drive out the darkness; and it shall drive out the despair; it shall drive out the gloom; it shall drive out the heaviness and it shall release the rain of His Spirit.
"For there is coming a latter rain in this season - a rain of refreshing, a rain of renewing, a rain of revelation and a rain of restoring and it will water the dry places. It will saturate the parched ground and it will release the seeds that have been lying dormant and there will be incredible, rapid growth," saith the Spirit of God.

An Open Letter to the Former Bearer of Light
You can come against me all you want. I will never leave my God. You can tempt me all you please. I’ve decided to set my face like flint. You can try your best to scare me off my wits. I will cling to the promises of my King. You may lure me with the things my wayward heart desires. But my passion for the Uncreated One will overrun and overtake all of me. And I have decided to burn my flesh as an offering to my Lord. You may succeed at silencing my voice. But only for a while for I will break out with shouts of victory and joy.
In case you forgot, I am already victorious in Christ and, at best, all you can do is try. For you have already been defeated. You are loser of all losers. You are failure of all failures.
You think you’ve got the upper hand just because I sometimes fall and falter? No way! “Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy; though I fall I will rise; though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me.” You think you’ve got the better of me just because I am weak? No way! His grace is sufficient for me, for His power is made perfect in my weakness. You think that just because you are still able to taunt me that I will always be cowed? No way! I have not been given a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline; and I am changed from glory to glory in the presence of my God!
Let me give you some perspective: you had your chance. You were made blameless in your ways from the day you were created. You had the best job anyone in heaven could have been given. But you wanted more and wickedness was found in you. Then you decided to ascend to heaven and raise your throne above the stars of God. Big mistake!
You had your shot, man! You had your chance! Guess what. YOU BLEW IT!
So do not come waltzing your way to me, trying to sell your stale pancakes and sweet lies because I’ve had enough of your schemes. You’ve had your fun and now it’s time to kick you butt back to your rightful place – UNDER MY FOOT!
You have already fallen like lightning from heaven. And I have been given the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy – that would be you. Nothing will harm me, for that is what my Lord says. Let me make that plain to you: you do not have authority over me; I HAVE AUTHORITY OVER YOU – you and your minions!
My God is greater than you. My God is greater than anything you can throw at me. My God is greater than your schemes. My God is greater than your plans. My God is greater than the fears that your whisper in my ears. My God is greater than the obstacles that you put in my path. My God is greater! My God is greater! My God is greater!
He is the One who created all things. He is the One who IS IN CONTROL, not you. No matter how much you try conjure an appearance of control over things, you have squat! You can only have as much control as my God allows you. You are limited. My God is unlimited.
So yeah! You wanna tell me I’m weak? I say, yes I am. But my God is strong in me and He is greater in me than you that is in the world. You wanna tell me I’m a sinner? Sure! A sinner, but saved by grace through faith, redeemed by blood of the Lamb and adopted as a son of the Living God.
How about you? Who’s your strength? Who saves you from your sins? Who’s your daddy now?
Me? I got a Daddy in Heaven! He takes good care of me. He provides all that I need. He forgives, saves, heals, rescues, covers, protects, encourages, exalts, gives, blesses and HE LOVES ME!
Thank you for reminding me of my dependence on my God!

Man of Promise

[for “One Who Flows on the Promises of God”]
Yes and Amen! – all His pledges are true;
each of His promises made unto you
Not one single word will be rendered void;
every single promise you will enjoy
When He says He'll be there, He’ll never leave
that promise is true; you can always believe
His pledge of provision, His oath to take care
He will bring to pass; He will make you aware
So move in His promises, He'll make you see,
each word that He utters will set people free
Walk on your journey believing His word,
bring change to the people you meet in this world
The promise that is in your name prophesied
is a promise that His name will be glorified
Sail on the bright oaths of God – yes, you will;
‘til each one you see in His time be fulfilled
Go forth, multiply your faith, man of promise;
God has raised you up for such a time as this
Flow on in the promises He gave to you
and impact the nations as He said you’d do

The Word + Music = Powerful Evangelism
I am currently listening to the songs that the choir is going to present on the March 15th Easter cantata and I really believe these are some of the most moving and anointed songs I have ever heard and sung with the group.The Word of God as it is already powerful enough, but setting them into music transforms them into something quite different on its own. Personally, I find it easier to absorb scripture when set to music, and most of the verses that I have memorized are the ones that I have heard through songs.
Five years of ministry with the New Life Sounds Choir has taught me this: relaying God’s Word through music is a powerful tool of evangelism.
For this set of 15 songs that we will be singing, I am firmly believing that the Lord will do something awesome in the heart of those appointed to watch the musical. With songs based on passages of scripture – like Zephaniah 3:17 [“The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”] and Micah 7:8 [“Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me.”] – I am confident that people’s eyes will be opened to the Father’s love for His children, that He truly, madly, deeply cares for us.
“Worthy of Worship” – the 2008 Easter cantata will be presented at the Maranatha World Outreach Center in Manalili corner Burgos streets, Cebu City. Everyone is invited to come, be blessed and be overwhelmed by the heavenly Father’s love.

Let the River Flow 2007: Day Three
November 25, 2007 / Sunday
Morning Session
The worship time was really powerful and God's presence was unmistakable. Pastor Joe DiSarno came up to the pulpit and sensed the Spirit asking, "Where are the watchmen? Where are they?"
Because the glory of God was so great in the hall, one of the giants in the land came crashing down -- Jezebel! Stacey Campbell called on the men to rise up and take our place of leadership, as watchmen of the Philippines, and as gatekeepers of our families. It was really amazing. I believe the men coming forward to the altar and declaring victory over the Jezebel (controlling) spirit in the nation was really symbolic of what was happening in the spiritual. Whoa! Jesus has given us the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome "ALL" the power of the enemy! Hooooooooooooooooooooo! Hallelujah! Freedom!!!
I'm telling you it was a great way to "anoint the warriors" of Cebu! Haha! Daddy!!!
The Lord's reassurance to the body was that He loves us no matter what. Therefore, we don't have to strive as children of the Father. We don't have to fall under the performance trap. We don't have to prove anything to anyone. WE ARE LOVED BY THE KING! WE ARE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE ALMIGHT GOD! PERIOD. Haha! The God who holds the universe in His hands has His eyes locked on us. Whoa!
Rise up, men of God! Rise up, WARRIORS! "Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, 'I am strong!'" Rise up, sons of God! PREPARE FOR WAR!!! Haha!
Afternoon Session
The afternoon meeting was more of a time of instruction as to where our "war efforts" were to be concentrated. Stacey said she felt Cebu is going to be a place of training and instruction for the Kingdom, and that she sees the city as a spiritual refreshing station for the nation. Wow! I live in Cebu. I am so blessed! Haha!
Later on, Stacey shared part of what she and her husband, Wesley, were doing in their ministry. She shared about the need to reach out the women and children of the world, emphasizing that children at the most at risk today. She also pointed out the spirit of poverty as one of the major enemies of the Church. Looks like we've got our work cut out for us. Hehehe. Thank You, Lord.
Stacey used the parable of the good Samaritan to drive home her point. In the passage, an expert of the law asks Jesus, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Then Jesus tells him the story of the traveler who fell into the hands of robbers, and how a priest and a Levite who were passing by didn't do anything to help the poor guy on the ditch. Instead, it was the most unlikely -- the Samaritan -- who extended a helping hand to the beaten man. Stacey challenged us, as Christ did in this scripture, that if we want to go to Heaven, we should "Go and do likewise" -- or as I summed it up in my notes: "Love God. Love people."
Evening Session
The last session of the conference was really something else. It was as different and as unique as the other sessions the came before it. Stacey shared to us part of what she does during her personal devotional time. We were reading passages of scripture, and singing the Word as a way of praying the Bible. It was intense. Everyone was on their feet and singing the Bible to God, singing prophetic words to the nation. It was really great. I got a lot of tips from this evening's session.

Let the River Flow 2007 was incredible, to say the least. With the changing of season in the Philippines, it was timely to hear what the Spirit of God had to say. I believed we got what we needed in preparation for the new season. I believe the men in this city, in this nation are hearing the call of God to take their place of leadership, and are rising up. I really believe things are starting to change in the spiritual atmosphere in my nation.
I am excited about what God will do next.
